Some of the people I talked to never knew family law could be a topic, and didn't know there would be ny mc. These must be the 15% that fail first time. We all feel bad, but you basically just need to be in top 85% of class, not top 10%.
I need to constantly remind myself that I just need to be in the top 85%.

Also did someone really not know family law could be a topic? That's awesome. I like hearing things like this.

85% of first time takers...you mean you spoke to law students who were saying that stuff?
Er, I mean generally, 85% first time takers pass. And some of the people who I talked to, or overheard discussing the the exam, were saying just weird shit. I overheard someone say they left a question blank because they had no idea, and didn't want to waste time on the question (not a full essay, but a part of an essay) I was talking to a lot of people because I didn't see anyone from my school until lunch today, so I was bored and just talking to people in the halls, and around my seat

me too. i answered everything. i think i did ok on the MPT and answered all the MBE questions. even though i just bubbled in whatever for like 10-15 total. may be more. but i did finish 2 minutes early and ppl were erasing like crazy and bubbling in like crazy. so maybe we are ok if enough ppl freaked out and didnt finish at all.

Hey guys, kinda avoided TLS for the most part over the past two days (and then other things* to do last night), BUT:

REALLY want to thank y'all for the collaboration leading up to the exam. I would've been killed by that last essay had we not been discussing the possibility of Admin coming up since it was the last chance the NY Bar Examiners had to test it, and they hadn't tested it in February. I had originally been of the opinion "yeah they might do it," but didn't realize they hadn't in February until I read it on here. I decided to briefly review my Admin outline before leaving my apt for Javits, and I am SO glad I did. Seriously. TLS saved my ass on that one.

I felt pretty good coming out of Tuesday (thought the MPT was the hardest one I'd done, obviously the Admin essay was like "OMG I can't believe they did this," and there were some randoms like the "immunity" question in the tort fact pattern). MBE was "eh, fine" after the AM session and "eh, fine, but the beginning seemed a little tough" after the PM session. I could've also missed every single one, so who knows. NYMC = LOL wut is this?

I think themis did an adequate job prepping me, but I definitely credit TLS for invaluable collaboration.
