We just need a gentleman to call the board..

I give you the line

"Board of Examineers" (not so happy and attractive voice but don't be scared though)
"Hello, i'm sorry to bother you but I would like to know the date of the release of the results for the NY bar. I know there is no fixed date but is it possible to get them by next week or so? "
"i dont know that answer thanks bye"

you can call if you are awake (which you must be since you are posting on here), even if you are out of the country and there is a time zone difference

Well, you'll understand that I'm not willing to pay for an international call.

Several past years between October 26 to October 31 range.
Thanks, but I was wondering about the actual time of day they are typically released.

i am anxious (just as you are) and awaiting results as well, but calling will not do anything since bex (board of bar examiners) will never disclose anything of this nature over the phone

I'm not even that anxious because I know i did poorly on the bar and i didn't even start the Character & fitness thing.

At least the wait in feb is shorter !

yes for february the result is out end of april

character and fitness depends on your department
-for 1st they only allow applicants to send in application for admission once they know for sure that they passed
-for 2nd, 3rd, 4th they allow applicants to send application for admission prior to knowing the result
-4th has a deadline to send in the application for admission (october 2 i think), and if you send it in early and later fail, 4th simply keeps your paper
-2nd has these videos you have to watch online (the videos contain these codes that you have to write down to prove that you watched it *it is easy to open the video in a browser, download the file, and skip through it until the code shows up --- but not sure if many people know how to capture/sniff out the actual video link)

I bet it goes into November. Why rush it? It's not like we can take a different New York bar.

History of NY Bar release dates for JULY:

July 2014 - released Monday, October 27, 2014
July 2013 - released Wednesday, October 30, 2013
July 2012 - released Friday, November 2, 2012
July 2011 - released Wednesday, November 2, 2011
July 2010 - released Friday, November 5, 2010
July 2009 - released Thursday, November 5, 2009
July 2008 - released Thursday, November 13, 2008

By what can be seen the tendency is to release results earlier. Why not Monday, October 26, 2015 if this year had the lowest number of bar takers since 2006?

The test dates for July 2013 and 2014 were July 30-31, 2013 and July 29-30, 2014. If test date vs. release date is any indication, anywhere from Oct. 26-28 could be D-Day.

"Thank you for calling the New York Board of Law Examiners... if you are a bar taker who is anxious, the waiting time is hard for you, you can't handle your nerves, you have a shortage of patience and you are calling to know the release date of the NY Bar exam, July-28-29, 2015... Sorry for you but we don't have any idea about when the results will be released... if you are calling for anything else, please stay on line, an operator will attend you shortly... your call is important to us, thank you!" :D :D :D

I'm guessing 9pm Pacific Time on Mon 26th. I presume they have the results now but will wait until then to get everything sorted on their end.

october 15 was the last day to send in the Change of Address Requests, and what i do know about that process is that people usually get a confirmation email within 2-3 days + those nice folks at BOLE usually take 10ish extra days from said closing date before posting. also, it probably means that - although the grading is done at this point - the pdf files with the results have not been created yet since they have to contain that correct info.

that said, i'm also thinking oct 26 or 27

I've been so busy at work that I've been too exhausted to monitor TLS until tonight (mainly because it just hit me that holy shit the results are due out soon and I don't know if I want them now, or just never want them).

I read the entire CLE discussion above. My wife took the NY bar a few years ago, passed the first time out, and did not receive anything that you guys are talking about prior to the results being released. We didn't even really receive anything from the NYSBA until she was admitted, and after that our mailbox has been bombarded with stuff, which if I'm fortunate enough to pass, will be doubled.

I'm starting to get nervous. I didn't feel too bad after either day, and I'm seeing the same patterns in my feelings and responses as others on this board who have already passed, but I'm really starting to get nervous. Wondering if I missed something. Wondering if I'm one of those people that just couldn't swing it this time even though I studied throughout the summer. Wondering if I'm going to be the only one in my class at the office who fails. The worst part is that if it comes out at work and I'm standing in court, there's nothing I can really do if I fail. It's not like I can say "okay BAI now" and leave to drown my sorrows. GAH.

I'm guessing the same: 9pm PT on Mon 26th which is technically 12am ET on Tue 27th.

Any other Left Coasters fly back East for the NYBE?

That 3 hour time difference was a kicker for me. Made huge mistake of flying red eye on Sunday night. Will not make that mistake again if I have to resit (highly likely!)

The finish line is in sight, gentlemen.

How are the nerves all holding up as we, (potentially) enter the final week?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
