I passed and got a 125.9 MBE. Must have massacred the essay.

So what's the min MBE score? for arguments sake? I scored in the upper range of 130-140 - which I thought was good. Even taking away 20 for the curve and assuming a 190 question test 119 = 62%.

i got 124.5 and failed, someone on here got a 124.5 and passed. difference of about 6 points on the essays according to pluging in different numbers on the Separac calculator.

When do the model answers usually come out?
According to Seperac, the last four years were Dec 31, Jan 06, Jan 04, and Dec 17. So call it New Year's, give or take a couple weeks.

Passed: second try, 135 MBE, foreign educated (English is my first language), no US LLM (relied on certain exemptions), qualified in another jurisdiction, both times worked full time.

Feb 15: almost exclusively relied on barbri international, handwritten (possibly the biggest mistake). MBE close to 140 when rounded up

July 15: used barbri outlines as a refresher, but otherwise studied with critical pass flashcards, seperac masters (high priorities) & subject outlines (all), and TYPED.

Congratulations to all those passed, and all the very best of luck to those who decided to re-sit!

Because locking the thread is much easier than having to come back here and keep deleting posts I've already told all y'all to stop making. You've had a zillion warnings.

Btw, are ALL passers on the NY list? Someone told me he passed but I had my doubts and tried to look him up - is not on the list.

I believe so?

If for some reason that's not the case, I'd love to know how to tell the difference because I know more than a few people who didn't pass (or show up on the list), which sucks.

Hi guys,

Can somebody please explain the reasoning why one doesn't receive essay/mpt/nymc scores if one passes?

Best,
Ja

Very simple answer, you passed, I failed, we both request. I have the same answer as you. I complain that your grader did his or her job, while mine did not. Or we had the same grader and there is a vast disparity at hand. So the reason they don't give a passer the opportunity to get their scores is bevause it will expose the truth that the essays are worthless. Can anyone say constitutional violation?
