Passed FL on the second try! Elated to say the least.

Failed the July 2012 Florida Bar, and then failed it again in February of 2013. Pretty much bombed those first two times. Took an extended break and re-took in February 2015 and as of today, passed the FL part, failed the MBE and passed overall.

I don't even know what to say or think or right now. The relief is incredible.

Congrats to all of you that received passing results. I am still waiting. If you could all post your MBE I would appreciate it. Just curious. Thanks.

Passed both sections for FL on my second try.

I would love to help giving MBE scores, but FL doesn't provide that to those who pass.

For what it's worth, I had a 118 on my simulated Kaplan final in July 2014 and that came to a 135 on exam day. Had a 131 on my Kaplan final MBE this time around. I remembered some questions from last time, though, so that may have inflated that score.

Good luck to those waiting. The wait is agonizing.

To those that didn't pass, go sulk and then get back at it. You're bigger than this test. You are smart and capable. You got this.

So ridiculous that Colorado takes so long to publish results (May 7!!) when states that presumably have a ton more people taking them (Florida, Illinois, maybe Washington?) come out so much earlier. Hell, even California which has two full days of essays to grade and a ton of takers get the results out May 16 only one week after CO! What is going on there??

Opposite for me. I passed the MBE part and failed the FL part. Ironically, I felt like I rocked the FL part and bombed the MBE. I'm just glad I passed overall.

New Hampshire results will be posted online on February 24th at 9:00am, just in case anyone is wondering.

I felt okay-ish for the MBE and thought I bombed FL. Lolz.

I think Aidsburger is maybe pointing out that New Hampshire results are late AF.

Like was said, I don't have the score breakdown. I got a 164 scaled on the MBE. I got a 155 on my Kaplan final. Here is a link to Illinois that does have it broken down.

Hope that helps!

Tomego, was that a 155 raw on Kaplan's final out of 200, or with their suggested point adjustment?

Just over a week left of waiting and I almost don't know how to cope with this wait anymore. I literally cannot fall asleep without a melatonin pill or two. If I have to take this test a 3rd time I'll probably check myself into an institution after the exam.

Bar Results posted from TN...54%, down from 63% last February. Scaled MBE mean was 136. Damn, makes me feel even better about passing

waiting on new york. Dying a little inside every day. Recently learned last years results came out April 24th which is like NEXT WEEK and now I'm panicking even more because that means it is plausible they could come anywhere from RIGHT FUCKING NOW until the end of May. Which is horrifying.

It was out of their suggested point adjustment. My raw was in the 140s.

Passed Missouri! I don't know what my score breakdown is, or even my UBE total as the state can apparently withhold this information if your application is still incomplete - I have yet to get my MPRE scores from March.

For those still waiting: keep your heads up. One or two of my essays could've been fingerpaitings. Totally missed the mark - and I still passed. Your good news is on the way, too.

FL's overall passing score fell to 64% from 73% February 2014 and 80% February 2013. It's getting tougher out there.

Hm, some of these results concern me considering NJ usually has around a 60% pass rate for Feb.

Don't be concerned about the Florida results.

You can take Florida in halves. Just like you can take DC is halves. Meaning, if you score a 136 on the Florida portion or the MBE, you can retake just that portion. https://www.floridabarexam.org/web/webs ... 0B0067E748

So the results are skewed a bit.

I'm really bad at stats and honestly don't understand how the bar exam is scored/scaled/etc, but what exactly is the takeaway based on the results that have been released so far? Are things looking bad for Feb 2015?

I thought that the entire point of MBE scaling was so that the level of difficulty of an individual administration would not skew results. When people post a state's avg MBE score, isn't that kind of worthless? Like it would be more helpful to know what the raw score was and what it was scaled to, right?

I think the scoring of this exam is a mystery; but perhaps only those who create this test understand how it works.

Didn't mean to pick on Florida and yes, that's a pretty big drop for them. I was just trying to remind people that you can't predict what's going on in your state based on other state's results. There are so many factors it's just not a great comparison for anyone.

Congrats to everyone that passed (anywhere)! Best of luck to those who are still waiting...
