So what do we think tomorrow will bring regarding the essays?
PR
CP or Conlaw or Evidence?

I want to say that I'll review a bit tonight but there's a better chance of me getting a drink

Tomorrow's theme will be "glib familiarity".

At best. :?

PR for sure. Probably ConLaw. Then tossup between CP or CA Evidence.

One Timers is saying no and they need at least 2 CA topics w/PR in there somewhere

I've taken the MBE 3 times now (passed NY, failed CA in Feb '15) and every single time, I finish with about 3 or 4 minutes to spare and have no idea how I did.

How did this MBE compare to your other experiences? Feel the same? Worse?

Even is tripping but I'm thinking maybe there's a method to Barbri's madness? This test was almost as much a test on test-taking as it was a test on law. Like you had to know law to answer the questions but just knowing the law for most of them didn't matter. Seems like Barbri's Qs are designed to drill the law into you, while the MBE (at least today) presents everything in unusual ways. For some it felt like they didn't even expect you to know the specific law they were testing, they just wanted to see how you'd react to an obscure law given your knowledge of all the subjects.

I know some people are saying Adaptibar was 'better' but I'm a little skeptical. I did Emanuel's cover to cover and this was WAY harder than that, and that's over 500 Qs at least without CivPro (can't remember the exact amount because my brain is fried). Emanuel's are all old questions too. Further, Barbri used some questions that I actually saw in the Emanuel's book.

I did maybe 200 Kaplan questions and around 1000 Adaptibar.

Nothing prepared me.

About the same, I think. Honestly, I barely remember anything about the MBE within a couple hours of taking it; it's just a blur. There's so many questions to get through that I don't have time to dwell on questions I messed up or rejoice as to questions I aced. By the end of it, I have no idea how I did.

lol how people here were talking about Bailee's and bailors last week. TLS is better than barbri for studying.

To clarify, I did not find it easy, I just finished with an hour to spare.

That means you finished the damn thing with 1.2mins per q...

I literally came down to the wire on both sessions today.

Seeeeee this makes me feel like I fucked up REALLY BADLY because I was done with the 100 questions by the 2 hour mark (almost on the dot) for both the afternoon and the morning sessions. I went back over my answers for the last 45 minutes, then left before the 15 minute mark.

UGH this probably means I failed

And to answer the q about the Feb bar -- no way. I already did 2/3 days and paid, why would I back out now? I might as well see it through. If I have to do February, then oh well, it's expensive but at least I'll know I HAD to.

nah crumps you've always been fast on multiple choice tests, i remember from the lsat. doesn't mean you fucked up. i seem to have missed this barrage of Ds that everyone else seems to have gotten, so i'm a lttle rattled by that. oh well, can't worry about that now

haha...thought about this. Wonder how many people would even bother taking Feb bar now that there is a format change.

Completely random question and apologies if this is a dumb question....who is that girl in your avatar?

Last minute question:

How do you use Equal Protection for a religious claim?

That long string of Ds had me sweating bullets.

Also, do we also get a realtor's license come November?

ETA - Looks like Tiago and I finished in two hours as well Crumps. And probably lots of others too. I left when I finished tho. Second-guessing my answers never works well for me; I either know it or I don't.

There's no way that we are all wrong with the Ds...I think we are good!! Hell ya, confidence just went up, but then I realize I don't know shit about CP, PR, Corp, Wills/Trusts
