Yes. I very much appreciate that since I still don't know a damn thing about Oil & Gas. It's one of the reasons I finished early each session. They recycled in some form or fashion several of the questions, although the Family Law and Community Property questions threw me. Grandparents standing? Damn if I know.

But I had just read the model answer to that O&G question the night before. I felt like, overall, the essay questions were not too hard. The Wills one? That was almost too easy and I bet missed something important. Also, the Consumer Law question sucked because it took so long to answer. Although I couldn't remember if 541 ties into the DTPA, so I put both on there.

Also, can we sell our Themis books?

The only community property issue I saw was the wills question with the wife giving the husband Blackacre then dying. ( which I recognized when I read, but forgot to bring up because it seemed so straightforward. Which I will lose points on.) Was there some other comm property issue?

No, sorry. I just mean CP and Family Law are always together and they didn't do their standard "what belongs to who after the divorce" type of question.

On the Wills one, did the kid get the property because it was clearly traceable to the prior property?

Wasn't entirely sure. I knew the issue of "ademption" came up, but to be totally honest, wasn't sure how to apply it. I ended up saying he didn't receive it, the wife's bequest was terminated by operation of law, and everything was left to the son and the quasi-but-not-really adopted daughter equally.

I said much the same thing, but I said he got the property since it was purchased with funds directly traceable to a property explicitly left to him. Not sure if it's right, but I think our answers covered the majority of stuff.

Do we have to return our books, or can we sell them or what?

I think you can sell them. Not sure how much you will get though.

Barbri people do not have to return their books. You can if you want. If you return them you get $250.

Big ups to Charles Barkley.

I also passed (in IL). Hope more people go with Themis in the future and save all that dough.

Same!

Thanks Themis bros for all your help and support during this hellish summer.

Also, this email makes me wonder about Themis' bar passage numbers.
Hello Bikeflip,

I hope this email finds you well. As I’m sure you already know, the results from the July 2013 Colorado bar exam have been released and are available on the Colorado Board of Law Examiner website.

Please contact me as soon as possible and let me know how you did! As we want our pass rates to be completely accurate for future Colorado examinees, we rely on you to share your results on the bar exam with us. Please also let me know if you withdrew from the exam.
Is Themis self-selecting with regards to their bar passage numbers? They're still a great program that I would go with again, but this email's wording has me confused.

I think they are just asking you to share whether you passed or not so they don't have to comb through the records and match names to students.

Probably. It's an easy way to verify if "Doe, Jane Erin" was Jane Doe of Themis.

Passed PA! Still waiting for NJ, but based on my MBE score and the way NJ will weigh it, I think I'm good. Thanks, Themis!

Just ordered a suit with the money I saved with Themis. Held the difference in escrow (not really but yeah). 180000000.

I'm graduating in Dec and I'm taking the Feb bar.

Thanks!

Passed with 151 MBE which is a little above average. I feel like I killed the essays but who the fuck knows. Take themis. Save $3k.

How did you take two separate bar exams in one summer? Or was it three?
