I tried and failed also. I've been burned before.
I still haven't checked. Had heartburn when I realized they started going out yesterday, but today has been great. Since I promised not to check, I'm not neurotically refreshing course evals...

Let's see if I can keep it up...
I definitely went from cutting cake to cutting wrists as grades came out.

I have decided to adopt your attitude. I am kind of bitter that they haven't even managed to post LRW grades though.
you mean...pass or fail?

One would expect a pass/fail grade to be available sooner.

Also, apparently the delay has been student records, as my understanding is that some professors turned in their grades at least a week ago

Yup. My prof said she turned her stuff in two weeks ago. Oh, how I lol at the suggestion that loans will be disbursed faster now that UVA is a direct lender.

Do you know anyone living in UHeights and how it is living there?

Also, when do you need to get immunizations in? Is it after you pay your deposit...I can't seem to find any info online for that.

All I know is that its due...on or before August 30th, I think. I don't have the health forms with me now. vanwinkle or YCre linked to that info either in this thread or in the UVA Class of 2013 thread. You'll have to go back a bit.

P.S. It would be wise to start working on these dumb immunizations in July - they want two TB tests and they have to be separated by two weeks so it would be pretty difficult to do in August.

Unless you're a high risk category (either b/c of travel or prior job), you don't need a two step TB test. The only people who are absolutely required to get a two step TB test are medicine and nursing students.

And, yes, two step is a pain in the ass, but it could be worse. I used to work in a high risk area of a hospital where we had to have TB testing every 3 months.

I think she has set the record for the worst 1L class reviews - I think the record prior to her was held by Kitch.

LawWeb is being updated now. There were 64 evals this morning, then 71 about 15 minutes ago, then 73 like 5 minutes ago, and now 74 evals. Interesting...
