At the risk of revealing myself as a complete rube here, how exactly did you guys find out your position on the WM wait list? I tried calling the admissions office, and whoever answered the phone denied that the list had any order whatsoever, which I guess would make it more of a wait cloud. Needless to say, I didn't believe them.

I'm just gonna assume this is a thread to ask students about W&M...
Does anyone have an idea what the yearly COL is? That is, someone who has sat down and figure their monthly/weekly/yearly budget?
TLS.com has the COL listed at $14,000+ per year, which to me seems absurdly low ($275 a week!). I know there isn't much to spend money on there in town, and 1Ls especially are too busy to be hitting bars and restaurants all the time. Still, that's kind of low.
