Biotech IP Law Markets

Post by Anonymous User » Sun Feb 21, 2016 11:42 am

I am starting law school (T14) this fall and plan to practice IP law in biotech after graduation. I wonder if anybody could shed some light on the size and future career growth potential of different markets (DC, Boston, northern CA, Chicago or NYC).

The bulk of pharma litigation is done out of NYC, with some spilling into SoCal and DC. SF/Bay Area has some as well, but not nearly as much as CS/EE/Mech. Chicago is pretty light on life sciences, but Boston has some if you go to the right school.
