Read a book that you find interesting.. whether that is the Hunger Games, a historical fiction, whatever floats your boat. Read the newspaper, etc. Enjoy what time you have left before law school - no book is going to markedly help you prior to law school. If ANYTHING, skim through "Getting to Maybe"

if u rly want to read a book abt law school, go thru law school confidential or planet law school
for more substantive stuff about how to study/do law school, go thru leews or delaney's learning legal reasoning
also gotta shout out farnsworth's legal analyst and scalia's making ur case

u don't need anything before law school of course
but if u rly want to anyways, pick 1 or 2 of the above and give em a skim

Not necessary. "Suggested reading" during the semester is similarly not necessary.

it's not necessary to read any one particular thing to succeed in 1L; there's absolutely no need to worry about anything like this as a 0L. I seriously doubt getting to maybe is a valuable read for a 0L (though in fairness I have never read it, but for the FAQ section (which I would pretty highly advise reading, but only like a month before exams)).

I read most of the typical 0L books. Really not much interesting or valuable in them. I liked Lawyer Boy. Read things you're interested in that are unrelated to law; you won't have many chances to do that, comparatively, for, like, the rest of your life. Brut's shout outs are credited though, IMO.
