How to be happy in biglaw

Actually like k-cup coffee.
Hate your spouse.
Dislike or find your children overwhelming. Having none isn't nearly as effective so distant second.
Crippling social anxiety helps. Getting an MD to misdiagnose your crippling social anxiety as ADHD helps even more.
Be fat or skinny fat with no interest in the gym.
Overvalue free cab rides and seamless dinners.

I don't think people in biglaw are particularly competitive and I don't think firms pit associates against each other. At all.
