Will my PI related resume hurt my chances for biglaw?

I've done mostly government relations and PI-related internships/work after college. Although I'm fairly committed to PI, I wanted to use my SA opportunity to work in a different environment. I'm afraid though that my heavy PI resume will hurt me come 1L summer/OCI. Will biglaw employers care about my pre-law school PI work experience?

You know what they'll care about a lot more? Grades. And school ranking.
