How did you get your job?... Is it a small firm, mid-sized firm, or Biglaw?... And are there any co-curricular organizations or journals that you recommend besides law review?

It's a small firm... only 4 attorneys.

Any of the journals are good, and if you can get into one, do it. As for clubs and organizations, you have to be an officer in order for an employer to care. For example, being a member of the BALSA means nothing, while being the treasurer may help you a bit.

In terms of involvement, how big of a deal is Florida Blue Key? Do you find those students have a leg up in terms of involvement (law reviews etc.) in the school or does it play no role at all? Essentially, my question boils down to whether or not hard work and accomplishment plays a larger role than the "old boy" type network that blue key provides its members.
