If you are interning for a judge, and his clerks try to give you feedback on your draft of an opinion, don't brush them off by saying, "Oh, I'll just talk to the judge about it."

This was a few years ago and was not during a legal internship, but the lesson stands the test of time:

Do NOT put a protein bar in the microwave without taking it out of its wrapper. It's generally looked down upon if you nearly burn down the building on your first day.

That said, do NOT put a protein bar in the refrigerator.

Do not tell the paralegal teaching you how to do your job (and trust, you don't know wtf you're doing) to "get you a coffee, sweetheart" mid-training session.

Follow up: don't be shocked when this summer-long attitude doesn't end in an offer for full-time employment :D

Oh man. What an idiot.

Clearly, this is for entertainment, not instruction. I would hope no one with a working brain would EVER be so disrespectful to the staff at their firm/position

I hope he works as a barista forever.
