"Canned briefs" Do I get them? What are they exactly?

So I have heard about these canned briefs, which I understand are already briefed cases?
Is this correct? Do you get canned briefs keyed to a specific casebook/author?
Finally, is there a best company/type?

Casenote or High Court Case Summaries publishes a book keyed to your casebook (most of them anyway) containing the case briefs.

High Court Case summaries are decent. Using one for my Corporations class. Sometimes there are quirks, though (IE a case in the text isn't in the canned briefs, or vice versa). So be attentive. Also, the briefs can get really long. But it is still shorter than reading the actual case.
