Yeah, sure, I visited the campus there. I really, really liked it. From a v subjective point of view anyway.

I typed up my impressions, or what I could remember of them, in another thread:

California Western

I adore San Diego as a city and would love nothing more than to go to law school there. This school is in the middle of downtown, in three lovely, modern buildings whose top floors have a view of the sparkling Pacific. The admissions officers were incredibly friendly and the students I met outgoing; I got three tour guides for just myself. They were obviously interested in having me there and set on helping me find out the most I could about their school. Coming straight from Berkeley (who doesn't offer tours just of the law school and who doesn't make appointments with admissions officers for prospective students) I couldn't help but find the contrast immense. I'm sure Boalt is a friendly place for a student, but California Western seemed a friendly place no matter what. The students all looked happy and seemed like they were having a great time there. In fact the only reason I'm not applying is because I do have a chance at better schools; if I didn't however this school would probably be my first choice. (Note: I didn't visit USD, I suppose I should have though.)

wow thanks!
I'm really interested in this school, with my poor grades, I feel like this is my only chance, and I'm glad to know that it's a friendly place as well!
