While Duke was once nicknamed the Harvard of the South, Duke Law School can now stand on its own with excellent programs in several fields. Overall, Duke Law School is always rated amongst the top 15 law schools in the nation, appearing as a top 10 law school on a good year.

Duke Law School is also considered to be amongst the top 15 law schools in the following legal specialities: intellectual property, environmental law, international law, and tax law.

The Duke Law School profile (click on the profile link) goes into much more detail:

I just got back from a house-hunting trip to Durham. I'm really excited about starting at Duke in the fall, and I'm starting to wonder if I'll have any TLS classmates next year. Has anyone else decided on Duke?
