Letter of rec from my employer

Hi everybody,

What are your thoughts about getting a letter of recommendation from my current employer before I matriculate next year? The context in which I am asking is not for law school applications (just had academic letters), but for OCI and beyond. I will have been with this company (large corporation) for 2 years by the time I matriculate.

Will potential future employers care or will this take a distant back-seat to grades? What are your experiences?
