0L Prep

OK TLSers, bring the hate.

Tell my why it's a bad idea to read a couple E&Es before classes start. I have yet to read an argument against that I find compelling.

I'm not talking about hard-core, memorize everything, try to learn all the things type studying. I'm talking about reading through a few supplements to get a handle on what you're walking into for the next 3+ years of your life.

Nothing's "wrong" with it, it's just probably not very useful. Different professors focus on different stuff, and you'll probably end up reading stuff you don't need to.

It also (probably) will not help you get ahead.

That said, if you want to spend your time reading about Civ Pro before you actually have to, 1) fire away, and 2) you're a sick bastard.
