WUSTL $$$ Vs. NU

Post by lushka » Sun Mar 13, 2011 3:08 pm

Shooting for big law, and would like to lateral out to something sports and entertainment related after a few years... So first of all do I go an extra 130K in debt to go to NU? or secondly is it better for something sports and entertainment related or does that not matter anymore after working a few years in big law?

Thanks!!

If you don't have any undergrad debt then 130k might not be too bad (if a $1,500 student loan payment doesn't scare you, but at $160k it probably shouldn't). Personally, I'm debt averse and not looking at a $160k market, so my choice would be influenced by different factors. I think you have good options though.

Well its an extra 130k, which mean i would be looking at more like 220k in debt... I don't have any money so I'll just be taking out full loans to cover everything including living expenses.

No but I'm 95% certain they wont... and if they do, the decision will obviously be easier :)
