They were in Lutz's BA

Yes, they are on the same curve. Always and forever.

I think LLMs can petition for extra time on exams.

For Silver's BA course I'd recommend a corporations e&e, acing BA, and the case supplement which is keyed to the textbook. I have all of these, PM if you're interested in buying. they're also available in the bookstore.

The key to her class is being extremely thorough in all analyses. For example, if an exam asks you whether you would recommend X business organization for a specific situation, you will be in great shape if you can discuss why/why not X works and why the other organizations do/do not work. Given the level of detail required, it was a tough exam because of the time constraint but substantively manageable.

I'm pretty sure LLMs automatically get an hour or two extra for a three-hour exam if they are not a native English speaker.

They don't get it automatically. I knew an LLM who was not a native English speaker (but who spoke perfect English) and did not get extra time.

Is there an area at the school with a fridge/microwave for students?

Well, I'm glad I got my ITP trip in before DRod got his stupid hands on it. "higher level of academic rigor," barf. And he called it the wrong thing in the subject of the email. "Intensive Team Project."
1. The cost to students to participate in ITP will be reduced by: requiring that travel expenses for an ITP not exceed $5,000; allowing students to book their own airfare using miles or other discount programs; and allowing students to bypass the use of a travel agent to destinations that we know well and are easy to navigate.
Two weeks in Africa, booked by a travel agent, cost me like $5000. And we got the miles (if we had were a member of whatever airline.)

Also, what exactly is the point of ITP trips to "destinations that we know well and are easy to navigate"? Get ready for your exciting learning experiences in the fascinating and exotic city of...CLEVELAND!

And how does one get a grade for a Spring term class if the travel is the two weeks after May exams?

So just had Lupo for my first contracts class. I never need to take notes in class, huh?

I don't know about Lupo, but I'd say note taking is generally a waste of time unless you have a teacher like Redish who disagrees with the consensus (aka what your supplements will tell you).

I could not disagree more. I used my notes extensively in studying. But different things work for different people.

This. There isn't one way to succeed in law school.

Also, professors pick the destinations now, right? I thought the coolest thing about the program was that if you could find other people who wanted to go somewhere, you could go there. Is there even a point to being a group leader now?

SuePro has never taught civ pro but based on how she taught employment law she's probably going to actually focus on the rules more than other professors. I would think that the glannon guide would be perfect as its just a generic supplement for everything. However, if she goes all out with powerpoint like she did in employment law, you might not need any supplements at all.

In my experience, there wasn't a real good supplement that was completely on point for Shoked. Just do the reading, endure the fear of getting cold-cocked cold-called, and the material itself shouldn't be too hard to pick up.

I did not use a supplement for Nzelibe, but I remember he recommended a small one that could be read in one day, but the people in my study group who saw it were kinda meh about it.
