is it possible to make a follow up joke to this without cliff figuring out who i am irl?bananasplit19 wrote:Good luck with the second week of exams, all. Remember, no matter how bad it gets, there's someone out there that hates law school so much they frickin' shot the building last month.

Some of the hardest tests I took were uncurved electives. But they also were supremely generous.LRGhost wrote:OH YEAH TAKE UNCURVED ELECTIVES, THEY SAID.

Give them your loan info. They've rented to students before, they know you'll be good for it.dagny05 wrote:How do I go about applying for an apartment without a source of income? Do I just include info on the balance in my 529 and a note that I'll be attending NU?
Yeah, I included my scholarship letter/financial aid package instead of pay statements.Georgia Avenue wrote:Give them your loan info. i am having an existential crisis over this.mirroroferised7 wrote:PSA: Hot Doug's is closing in October. If you're a 0L, make sure to stop in as soon as you move to the city. Everyone else, enjoy as many duck-fat fries as you can before then!

It really comes down to you. Do you want to hang and kick it with people from school? If you have friends at home and all that, I could dig it, but you're probably going to make friends at school and being 45 minutes away from anything is rough. I can't really offer much about schoolwork and all that, though.Wildcats17 wrote:The 0L who asked about living in the suburbs again- does this seem doable for 2L/3L? I'm starting to think maybe do it big and go the ultra-convenience Streeterville route next year and then live at home the next two when I have more control over my schedule. Does this sound reasonable or do the same arguments apply?
I live out and the burbs and did for all 3 years. The above is definitely true. It comes down to you/your family etc. I chose to live where I live to have room for my kids that we could't afford by campus. It has certainly impacted my social experience. It's just hard to do things like bar review, weekend activities, etc when it involves a long commute on each end.LRGhost wrote:It really comes down to you.
