if you had a 4.5 you'd want to humble brag too (although I don't like to talk about what I had to do for that A++)IAFG wrote:We're talking about you guys.homestyle28 wrote:Wait is this former 1Ls, rising 1Ls, or both?
Well that's just embarrassing.chadwick218 wrote:Does anyone know if notifications were sent out regarding Coif? Indirectly, I learned today that the top 10% for this year's class exceeds a 3.84 (in other words, you've gotta be higher than a 3.84 to be in the top 10%, I just don't know how much higher).
Wow. Grade inflation much?IAFG wrote:Well that's just embarrassing.chadwick218 wrote:Does anyone know if notifications were sent out regarding Coif? I prefer to say that NU uses the whole 3.0-4.0 range. Our median is the same as UVA, NYU, etc. It's just that the top of the class is like 3.7 at UVA and like 3.9 at NU.Bildungsroman wrote:Wow. Can you translate NU's alien 4.0 system into something more sensible, like a 155-186 scale?bjsesq wrote:We lack that RIGOR.Bildungsroman wrote:Wow. Weren't you all-in on PI?Flips88 wrote:So...any tips on bidding strategy for Chicago and D.C.?
Yes, I was. But after discussing my career goals of DOJ/USAO with Dave, Cindy, and Susie, they've all said the clearest path there is through clerking and time at a firm. I'll still be applying for all the government honors programs, but I'll also be doing OCI.IAFG wrote:Weren't you all-in on PI?Flips88 wrote:So...any tips on bidding strategy for Chicago and D.C.?
Yeah I told you the same thing. But that doesn't mean I can't give you a little shit for it.Flips88 wrote:Yes, I was. For OCI, you rank your firm preferences from 1-50 and then some lottery computer program assigns interviews based on the whole class' bidsBlumpbeef wrote:What does high/low mean?

I would like to note, I am in for whatever drinking challenges may arise, even though I am and irregular poster at best. Hmm, really? Why not just ask him what the cutoff for Coif is? Or ask when we'll find out?chadwick218 wrote:Moy.attractive_NUisance wrote:I haven't heard anything: is your source based on a general feeling of hey "I know a lot of people with 4.0s" or is it someone in the administration?
