I know no one is supposed to say whether or not they got a call etc.

However, for you 2 and 3L's, do you know if calls went out over more than one day last semester?

If yesterday was it, I am a little surprised. My GPA is pretty good and I thought my writing portion was pretty good.
When you say "pretty good," are you thinking like, top 10% of people not in the top 10% good?

Obviously the issue with getting an answer is that you haven't asked the question enough. You should post it again.
I was just thinking the same thing. You are a genius.

I guess I'm not sure what top 10% is after 1L at NU, but I would think I am in that range or quite close to it.

Thanks for that. I can't believe he actually said that, but it made a great line for the follies.

Lot's of people just outside the top 10% range are not on LR. E.g. half the people on JCLC.

If 3.9 is Coif, assuming two years of grade inflation, then it has to be below 3.9 for 1L's.

I think that grade inflation at the upper tiers is less significant than it is between 3.3 and 3.7. Profs don't always hand out A+s in uncurved classes like candy but they are not going to hand out a lot of B+ dragging the middle of the class closer to the top but not giving the top much room to inflate.

Also, someone with a high GPA after 1L isn't necessarily going to ace ITA, ethics, negotiations, structured transactions, or clinic, which involve different skills, or fed jur, con crim pro, etc, which involve more competitive curves.

I still find it hard to believe that not ONE person has indicated they know someone who got a call.

Nonetheless, it is what it is. OCI is the next battle. See you there bitches.

Honestly, there are times on this board I get embarrassed for my class. Just remember, we're not all this bad. And J Dirksen there is at a level all his own.

Your class has some pretty cool people in it. Fuckload of gunners, though.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
