Yup first semester you'll get thrown into a section and your entire schedule will be predetermined. Second semester, you can pick two classes. You'll be given points and then like the history of bidding for each professor/course so you can gauge how much you think the course will go for. I wouldn't worry too much about the process they will really hammer it home for you once you get there.

I liked it. He's a pretty chill grader (But not great) if it isn't curved. Hard exam though.

One looks at a course's enrollment, sees already 40 enrolled, clicks to enroll anyway.

Why . . .

Because sometimes people drop classes and there's always a chance (with some classes) that it ends up below 40.

Personally, I'm registered for 5 classes and I'll be dropping 2 of them. One is currently over 40.

Class is capped at 40 so no curve.

I'm pretty sure it's a week from Friday (the Friday at the close of our first week of the second semester). One of my professors said as much, and that's what it was last year.

Sup thread. I'm gonna be a visiting student for my last 3LOL semester at NU. Finally can register for classes today.

Are there any upper classes you guys recommend or ones I should stay away from. I'm interested in corporate stuff, but I'd rather coast in a boring class than work hard in an interesting class. I'll be taking all classes P/F fwiw.

Is it true that an uncurved class=better grades? Or is that only true some the well-known easy graders?

Some profs are known to abuse. Idk which ones tho.

Any outlines available for Labor Law (Crystal)? I've already checked the outline banks. Thanks

I thought he was great - brings a big picture perspective from someone with tons of experience. Not too much prep for class, but the 48 hour final is tough. He seems to be a pretty generous grader if the class is uncurved/will likely max the curve in a curved class.

International Law with D'Amato? I've heard some vaguely bad things-- how bad of an idea is it to take this class?

American Legal History with Presser- seems like it's going to be curved, any opinions on if it's worth taking?

Also has anyone taken IP or Trusts and Estates?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
