What's the ratio of married/olds (me) to single/young (all of you, I think)?

About 10% of the class is JD-MBAs, most of whom are in their late 20s but single. Maybe another 10-15% of the class is older, married, etc. On the other side, there is a few % of the class that is early 20s either because they're straight out of UG, or graduated early, etc. The other 80+% of the class is pretty tightly in the 24-27 range (at matriculation).homestyle28 wrote:What's the ratio of married/olds (me) to single/young (all of you, I think)?

Awesome. It won't be his first time in a bar, so he shouldn't freak out. I'll do what I can to keep him cute until April, but alas, genetics is working against him...hopefully he'll stay cute until the inevitable fugly baby stage where he has like 7 teeth and is always snotty and drooly...Holly Golightly wrote:Done and done. In other baby related news, do you think strung out JD students @ NU will make good(i.e. cheap) baby sitters? I'm hoping to start a price war where the debt averse students undercut each other so my wife and I can go out.

The fact you're asking HGL this question is hilarious. She might explain why later. Don't start a bidding war, btw, a significant number of students don't necessarily want the additional money/stress. Best bet: find a poor/semi poor female law student with a bad drinking habit.homestyle28 wrote:In other baby related news, do you think strung out JD students @ NU will make good(i.e. cheap) baby sitters? Duly noted. Can I make one of those posters with my email on the bottom in little sheets you can tear off...I'll put a picture of my kid sitting in a martini glass or something. Wanted: One caring boozer who can stay sober enough for 4 hours to dial 911. Wage: $1/hour + access to cheaply stocked bar.bjsesq wrote:The fact you're asking HGL this question is hilarious. While of course I'm not asking for a TLS-IRL outing, tell me that some of you are in the campus tour video!

Re: Northwestern Students Taking Questions and Challenges
I have a bully mix (well, I actually don't know what he is and my vet tells me he is probably a Mastiff/Boxer mix, but he certainly looks like a Pit Bull). I haven't really searched for apartments, but the few that I have stumbled on have breed restrictions.
Does anyone know how Pit Bull friendly Chicago is? Does the city have breed specific legislation?
Anyone know of any good places to look that allow tenants with Pit Bulls?
What are some neighborhoods that I are relatively cheap/easy to commute to the law school?

Re: Northwestern Students Taking Questions and Challenges
Is admitted students weekend meant for ED admits as well, or is it just to convince admits that may go somewhere else to attend?
This is probably an easy question to find the answer to, but now that I've been admitted I am going to be as lazy as possible till August. Thanks for helping me achieve this.

You don't have to go, but you are welcome to come. I went as an ED admit, but I lived in the burbs.manyu wrote:Is admitted students weekend meant for ED admits as well, or is it just to convince admits that may go somewhere else to attend?

Yeah, everything he gets his hands on (and they are eerily large) heads to his mouth, so I thought I'd share.krad wrote:Ahhh new baby 'tar! yayhomestyle28 wrote:So, you're not the black dude in the ucla shirt outside the legal clinic?Holly Golightly wrote:Dear god, I hope not.homestyle28 wrote:While of course I'm not asking for a TLS-IRL outing, tell me that some of you are in the campus tour video!
