I would be surprised if they came out today. Grades were posted 06/05 last year.

Grades aren't even due till next week. Some students are still finishing senior research.

Didn't know when grades were due, but yeah, I had figured Friday June 3rd. My grade anxiety this cycle is flatly unreasonable. Three weeks after exams, I've usually forgotten that grades are even a thing.

Does anyone in this thread have kids in public schools in Chicago? What neighborhood do you live in? I was going to live near the school and send my children to Ogden, but I'm wondering if that option is going to be feasible with the loan allowance amounts. Thanks!

OCI reveal next Wednesday. So grades tomorrow, Monday, or Tuesday -- what you got?

My guess is tomorrow. If not, then next Friday.

Grades were due on Tuesday, May 31, and they've consistently been released the Friday of the week grades were due for at least the past three semesters, so I'd imagine that'll hold true again tomorrow.

Based on past practice, I agree that today (and soon-ish) is likely. But I received an email today from someone in the regsitrar's office that said, "grades are expected to be available by the end of next week." It was in response to trying to get the fancy clerkship version of my transcript once grades come out to update some of my apps.

This could be a standard throwaway line, since the faculty deadline to submit grades was this past Tuesday. Or, since this is the first time (in many years at least) that the grades were due immediately following Memorial Day weekend, maybe some faculty members requested more time and they've pushed it back.

FWIW, Horwich told people in his class that grades come out on Monday.

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw D-Rod at 31 Flavors last night. Apparently he said there will be no more grading at NPSL, in order to improve our ranking.

Registrar would probably save themselves from a lot of annoying emails if they just said when they were releasing grades.

This. It would be great if the administration would communicate more in useful ways. A simple email saying "Professor grades are due X day at X time. We anticipate grades will be posted on X day, but we will let you know if there are any delays." would be just wonderful. This could easily be included in the post-exam emails and would save students a lot of unnecessary stress/checking.

especially since even if you aren't stressing out on a daily basis, in a situation like we have this semester, history tells you to expect them on a given day and it is then hard to not think about it. and now it turns out that was even more pointless than it would be had grades actually come out today.

To everyone who is like "pointless grade anxiety", I mean, I get that it does not do any good but at least for me it is pretty hard to concentrate on other stuff when you think grades are dropping at any moment. Sorry I can't rationalize my way out of that dilemma.

Come on, let's be realistic.

Your example email does not contain enough typos and unexplainable formatting changes mid-sentence.

Can anyone ITT confirm whether Northwestern is still an institution that administers grades?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
