Lol. The winner of this year's moot court = editor-in-chief of LR. What a monster.

There should be an award for those two things plus k&e or something like the triple crown in baseball

An easy solution is just not to be at the law school at that time. Get your shit done quickly, get out and do better things.

Bike/Walk/Uber, depending on things like destination and weather. But the advice above is good; I never stay at the law school after 4PM.

The university shuttles will also drop you off pretty close.

The MAC properties shuttle actually stops at Shoreland. The last shuttle leaves the law school at 9 pm.

There is a mac properties shuttle? This might change my life.

It's the "Regents shuttle" but if you ask the driver will drop you off at other MAC properties.

+100. I respect the shit out of that dude, and my presumptive bias is generally anti-lawl-review-people.

Other than the regents shuttle, the university Central route is the one that goes closest - 55th & Hyde Park. You can actually catch it right outside the law school now! Back in my day, it went all the way to the 172 stop in front of Shoreland...

Do most 1Ls live with roommates? I'm leaning toward a 1Bedrom in either Regents or Shoreland, but I'm worried about isolating myself.

I don't think most 1Ls live with roommates (although a good number do). But, especially if you're getting a 1br in either Regents or Shoreland, you don't need to worry about isolating yourself. You're going to be at school five days a week with everyone, and there are plenty of social opportunities outside school. The only way you'll really end up isolated is if you impose it on yourself.

I didn't have either of those profs, but I found Understanding Criminal Law to be really helpful. (I've got a beat up copy I'd give you for ten bucks if you want it.)

FWIW I pounded the Dressler hard and Crim was my worst grade of 1L by a couple points. A whole multitude of other issues went into that, though, and I didn't have those profs - so don't panic 1Ls if you've been using that book for that exam.

I did very well for Masur/Miles - Dressler is nice because you get a solid understanding of the substantive law. The exam is a straight up typing contest.

In other words, this is a totally irrelevant personal story that doesn't have much to do with the question about crim supplements.

TBF, he has a point, although that was unnecessarily rude.
