I tried all of your suggestions, and eventually ended up calling the CITES help desk folks.

Turns out that a bunch of permissions had been shut off on my NetID account from back in 2010 when I finished my undergrad degree at Illinois. They reset all of that and I was back in business.

Does anyone know whether the College of Law allows incoming 1Ls to switch LR sections? Also, would appreciate any advise on Hook Dewey and Healey as research instructors.

I think it's pretty difficult switch section. Healey is the man. Research is an extremely dry subject, but his travel stories and life tips make the class all worth it. So much so that I might even take advance legal research with him at some point.
