Wow that's awesome, congrats!!
Any idea of Columbia will still process your merit-aid if you haven't submitted the questionnaire/W2s
Whoa do you need to fill out documents to be considered for merit-based aid? I never did any of that since I thought it was for needs-based only (which I'm ineligible for).
Yeah, you need to fill out all of the needs-based documents even if you're only looking for merit. It's pretty dumb. They definitely do give merit, though, because I just got a decent amount of $ and there's no way that it was because of need, given my parents' income.
+1. I initially almost didn't send anything for need-based because my parent's income/assets definitely preclude me from need. However, after reading around TLS I decided to send in the stuff for need-based consideration. I just got decent $ (at least for what I was expecting which wasn't much if anything) so there must be some merit in there and/or they truly believe and understand the fact that my parents won't be helping for law school.

I sent in my final docs right before the March 1st deadline. There was obviously this first big wave of financial aid info but I'm not sure if it now i going to trickle out or be in subsequent waves.
