I can't attend ASW . Is anyone attending the Alumni Receptions in their perspective cities? I'm in Atlanta.

There's at least 2 people ITT who have rsvp'd for the Atl one. I'm considering attending as well.

Visited Vanderbilt recently, attended a class, and toured. It's really beautiful. I went into the visit not sure if Vanderbilt was a serious contender and I left really liking the idea of the school a lot, so I'm sure ASW is going to be amazing!

The guy in admissions said scholarship information would come out relatively soon and that they hadn't made decisions about Law Scholars yet.

Thanks for the info! They say they usually notify Law Scholars sometime in Feb. So hopefully they'll be making those decisions soon.

The Scholarship Committee expects to begin mailing (USPS) award letters next week.

I should probably warn my mom to prepare for my incessant calling/texting throughout next week asking about if the mail has come yet.

Ok. I already posted this on here, but it still hasn't resolved itself... I still haven't heard anything from the travel agency! I was approved on 2/3 and emailed them my flight form, I emailed Mr. Willard at admissions on the 7th that I hadn't heard back, and I emailed the flight agency AGAIN on the 11th. Since then, it kind of slipped my mind. I actually just remembered today that I STILL hadn't heard back. I'm going to email admissions again, but I'm freaking out a little now.

Am I doing this wrong?? The flight agency books your fligts, right? Or are we booking them ourselves and I missed the memo?

I would call Natalie Lira (the booking agent) ASAP!

I think once you're within 2 weeks of the flight they limit the reimbursement, so you'll definitely want to resolve this soon if you're going to the March ASP.

Nevermind, i found the #. I'm going to assume they're closed on weekends, so I'll call early Monday.

Also, what is the dress code for the reception on Thursday? I'll be driving in from work, but I'm not sure if I should change into a suit or not.

To be fair, credit goes to Rlabo from last year's Vandy applicants thread. I was looking through there to see when the scholly letters starting getting received. FWIW, it looks like they went out on Wed, 02/27 and were first being received on Fri, 03/01.
