Has anyone found any data on how many invites go out a year and how many finalists ultimately receive the scholarship? I can't seem to find anything, even anecdotal. Much more info on the AnBryce in comparison...

Got the call while at the gym today, made a complete ass of myself. Said hello like 8 times, in a slightly agitated manner, cuz I couldn't hear him, then said thank you like a million times, then apologized a ton for saying thank you, then thanked him a million more times...sigh. Hope they don't rescind the acceptance haha.
Submitted 1/31, don't know when I went complete. GPA under a 25th, LSAT above 75th. No significant WE or softs. Hopefully I'll get to meet some of you awesome people

Just sent in my appeal to NYU. I am wondering if maybe I should have waited for responses from Chicago (interviewing next week) and perhaps Harvard (though, this is looking unlikely). I wonder how likely it is to go for reconsideration after receiving a response to an appeal? Did people discuss this last year?

I think there was some discussion of this, with limited success. It seemed to come down mostly to what other offers people had. Those people with other T6 schools (especially w/ other T6 scholarships) had more success in that regard. I could see this working out for you. You may get a small bump from this initial appeal, and then if you get accepted to Chi or H you could then leverage that in a second appeal.

I will be interested in your outcome. Would you mind PMing your numbers and initial offer?

I count 4-5 Jacobson invites just on TLS so far. I wonder how many finalist invites go out. I'm thinking maybe like 10 if they plan on giving 50% offers. But maybe that percentage is much lower. If only we could have a full count of how many invites go out. It's easy to tell how many scholars there are the past 2 years just by speaking to someone in the program :S

Yep I think this was universal. I know there were some people who reached out before this and asked to have their dates moved with some success, so perhaps that triggered it.

I'm glad though. It didn't make much sense to have an April 10/11 ASD after the deadline.

I was admitted on 2/11. 8 days later, I still haven't received an official letter/package. IS that normal?

Also, does anyone know the deadline for submitting the NeedAccess info? Getting parental information is turning out to be a real pain It may drag for another week or so.

Random question, but does anybody know who writes the TLS profiles for the different schools and why certain schools have so much more info than others? For instance if you compare the profile for NYU or CLS to the profile for Stanford, there is WAY more on Stanford. All they talk about for the NYC schools is how expensive NYC is...
