Congrats to all the scholarship recipients today!

I got my RTK rejection email at about 5. Was very much a "no shit, sherlock" moment. I'm hoping they offer me at least a little something, because I fell in love with the damn school at ASW and I really want them to give me a reason to pick it.

as Nonconsecutive said, they know you want to do PI and they realize you are sacrificing a lot of earning potential for that so I can't imagine why you wouldn't get a big scholly from NYU!

OTOH, I just sent in my contract for the RTK and now I have to remind myself not to have any changes of heart between now and 2027....

Thanks for the kind words, guys. I should clarify, I didn't interview. They held my application until the interview as an alternate, so that's why I got the rejection later than the other non-finalists. Crossing my fingers now for a nice dean's scholarship!
