If you're PI, then maybe my advice would be different.

I would say not just be PI, but PI with actual goals. Most vague PI people will end up doing biglaw anyway. Cornell will make that possible with less debt.

I come from a PI background (public school teaching, three years in a legal aid office) and have pretty specific goals in direct services that were articulated in my application. I'll be sure to work that into my appeal. I appreciate all the advice.

You have to request to have it activated. Email financial aid.

Ugh, in order to access it you have to e-mail NYU Finaid. They usually take like, two days to get back to you.

At this point, I might just e-mail them directly and they will probably tell you to appeal through the website, but if they don't, you'll be in luck.

This happened to me. Just email or call them and they will send you the link. In response to your post, BOM, I called and they emailed me the link immediately.

This problem has come up a lot. Check the messages and see if that opens up the tab. If not, email Schoenecker: Schoenecker@exchange.law.nyu.edu. Try perhaps calling the NYU Law financial aid to open it since you are time sensitive.

Well, for 3 of my teeth the pain legitimately only lasted a week or so and of that week only a couple days actually required the beefy pain meds.

However the 4th tooth caused all sorts of problems while being removed and my anesthesia wore off during the extraction and yeeeeeeah. That one hurt for like 3.5 weeks.

But yeah, my guess is you won't hurt for too long. Just don't let anyone else know that and leech the downtime.
