You can employ my method of ignoring it and hoping it goes away. It's working out decently so far
This will probably continue to work really well for the next three years or so. Maybe even longer depending how you feel about South America.

Wish I could keep doing that but I can't attend until I get all this debt taken care of (read: complicated ID theft that will keep me from getting loans). Have a fun couple of months or working with debt collection agencies ahead of me!

Was sick of waiting for other schools to figure out their aid.

ENROLLED.

I first took the LSAT in 2011.... I feel like (absent a waitlist hail mary that I don't know what I'd do) this 3.5 year process has finally concluded.

Can't wait to be with y'all in 4 months!

yay! congrats on making your decision!

and reading the bolded made me realize how ...odd this all feels. i first took the lsat in 2011 as well. it feels so long ago... back then, i never imagined this process would eat up so much of my life (and certainly never imagined i'd have the option of going to harvard)! we did it though

I'm in the same boat, with my first LSAT in December 2011. What a crazy ride.

Anyone know if there is mandatory orientation and if so when that begins? Trying to figure out my summer travel plans and when to quit work :D
Orientation: Tuesday, August 26th – Friday, August 29th. Pretty sure it's mandatory.
Based on past years, yep, at least a couple days of it will be mandatory.
Very helpful, thanks. Where did you find these dates? i was having the same issue

Hmm, I'm a K-JD, so I only had one year (like five months, really) to get all the LSAT stuff over with.

Does anyone know if you have to withdraw from waitlists to commit to HLS?

I don't think so. Just from other acceptances. It's laid out in the form you use to commit.

Anyone know what orientation actually consists of? I've never been to a school orientation. I'm guessing there's not actually four days of "So here's the library..", right?

I can't find the link now, but 2013 had a schedule up that I looked at and there were volunteering opportunities and section bonding meals and things like that.

Dumb question but are we supposed to receive some sort of confirmation if we submit the enrollment form online or do we just assume that all is well?

I got one the afternoon after I submitted, to my HLS email.

If you long back into the status checker it should be upated to indicate you confirmed.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
