I think it is just a matter of seizing power and proclaiming your title. That's how the commission has worked so far, and I'm not about to change the bylaws.TheMostDangerousLG wrote:Do you accept members of other sections to the booze and boardgame commission?malleus discentium wrote:I hereby appoint myself the president of the Section 5 booze and boardgames commission.

In sec 1, this is all very exciting!
Wondering if anyone knows when we can access syllabi so we can look for books?

I hereby proclaim myself the section 1 liaison to the section 5 drunken boardgame commission. As my first act as Prime Minister, all of Section 5 is invited to my boozy-board-game-mashup party next weekend, August 16th. There will be a keg of fresh, delicious IPA, meticulously and lovingly brewed by yours truly, the Prime Minister. PM me for details.
Your move, sections 1,2,3,4,6,7...
Also, when do I get to use images in my posts? I want to post some gifs already.
edit: I was hasty. I will accept attending the second section 5 shenanigan party

Re: Harvard Class of 2017
FYI, I just spoke with the Coop and they didn't know section assignments had gone out today. I was told that the books listed on the web app might not be right. They suggested checking back on Tues....hop wrote:thankspolitics89 wrote:The coop website has them up: --LinkRemoved--hop wrote:In sec 1, this is all very exciting!

Well, without my torts book (not listed yet) my Amazon total is currently $735.00. So that sucks.

Yep.
Choosing all "used rental" books from the COOP comes to around $425, again without Torts.

Re: Harvard Class of 2017
After doing a bit of research, renting from Amazon would definitely be the most cheapest way to go about it, no? I've rented one or two textbooks from there for undergrad and it was a straightforward process to return them.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
