Plans for picking up girls at bars, double check that you got your book from admissions, etc.

They were pretty basic, except for when some of your records are missing and you have to get blood tests and embarrassingly almost pass out. That was fun.
I only have records for about half of my vaccines so I'm about to go down this road.
Make sure you eat a lot before so you don't have to be confined to the fainting chair for a half hour :/
Uh, fun tip for those who have yet to take care of this process: if your records are missing from your doctor, you just go to your high school or college. They will have a copy of your vaccines on record, and between all three offices, there should be no need for bloodletting.

+1 Did this today. Getting health records from my college was almost too easy. They only asked for my name and DOB. Like what the fuck?

If anyone is like me and doesn't live in the same city as their doctor, you can go to a CVS Minute Clinic and have your physical and updated vaccines done there.

I'm curious what department keeps these records at college. I didn't use their student health services, but I'm sure I had to turn the vaccines in to them somewhere.

I managed to find all of them but my Tetanus record, and if I recall, that shot sucks....

If anyone has an interest in the US's drug policy, one of our future profs is looking for research assistants for this summer:

The registrar; they like to keep stats on how date of vaccination relative to date of birth correlates with students' grades in Medieval Literature of Rural Portugal.

Has everyone been hearing back from Student Financial Services within 10 business days of all of their documents being in?

I just called to say…

If you haven't heard Mindy Kaling hitting on Noah Feldman, you are not fully prepared to matriculate this fall.

I wasn't as impressed by Kaling's speech as the rest of the internet seems to have been. Granted, she didn't really have any legitimate connection to HLS or any law school for that matter, so I can't fault her speech for lacking depth. All that said, I think if you're willing to watch Kaling's, you should absolutely watch Preet Bharara's, which I found to be not only funnier, but laden with genuine humility and wisdom, and surprisingly spare in cynicism.

"I wasn't as impressed by [ ] as the rest of the internet seems to have been" has been a stark theme in my life for the past few weeks.

But yeah, I totally agree, no contest between Kaling and Bharara.

Hey horsethief, how about a new poll? What about "When are you moving to Cambridge?" or something like that?

Why don't I see Health Forms as a box to tick in my Application Status Check?
