I'm skipping out tomorrow, but for the tours, here is my assessment:

MFA: Great museum, free for students at any time. The stuffy museum vibe may discourage fun section bonding.

ICA: How much do you like contemporary art? Personally, I think this would be more fun for a group than the MFA because it will likely have wacky art you can all struggle to comprehend together and it's not that big.

Aquarium: It is an aquarium, just as you would expect it to be. I think it's the best or only in the Northeast, but I'm not an aquarium aficionado. There will be fish there. But you would normally have to pay and would not have to pay tomorrow. Also, you can sign up tomorrow, receive the pass/ticket, and visit anytime between now and June of next year.

Freedom Trails: No one who went on these today seemed to recommend them.

Napping: Might be your last weekday afternoon in a while where you have this option. Choose wisely...

Lmao that's because it's a million degrees out and it was a walking tour.

The trolley tours are tomorrow though! I saw one in Harvard Square today and it looks like you literally just sit in a trolley and go around. That could be fun!

Yeah, I think the rest of orientation is entirely optional.

I've heard that the aquarium and MFA are cool, and Fenway is great if you're a baseball nerd. It's too hot for the freedom trail stuff, though.

Just walked by there, looks like it'll be a cool setup (no bp spotted tho).

Also, (posting from) the top floor of the Harvard Square Starbucks... cool place to watch the scene below

That is a good spot indeed.

Yesterday I saw an armada of the Duck tours leaving campus, was that an HLS thing?

Wait there is an upstairs in that Starbucks?!

Edited: oops, misread that and assumed you guys were talking about the one across from the law school. :p wish that one had a second floor, it is so cramped...

I think I grabbed the wrong advice packet, there wasn't any free booze inside.

Does anyone know if there was free booze at the ice cream/movie night?

So the entire orientation had no booze. I feel betrayed.

I'm assuming they'll send out a survey soon about orientation, so I'm bottling up my frustration until then.

And if they don't send out a survey... I don't even know what I'll do.

Free booze was attainable at today's lunches depending on location. Also: max drinks per person at official Harvard function: 2.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
