It's really too bad they don't allow multiple first deposits
Sorry to hear.
Good luck with your other schollies.

Yeah, it sucks that they have such a restrictive policy to enroll but when you're on the other side of the fence, I think it's really thoughtful of them to try to keep class sizes so small.
I too received an email response to my extension plea and it was a really sweet and considerate reply. Dean Hoye is definitely the best admissions dean. He told me exactly what I didn't want to read and I still felt all warm and fuzzy reading it. Shame I won't be going.

Withdrew early last week, should free up a chunk of cash for everyone still trying to get more. Best of luck!

I've found myself forwarding my family things that aren't interesting enough to typically merit an email solely as a means of breaking in my shiny new @duke.edu address. It's the most expensive email address I've ever had.

Looking for some info: If anyone has used a CCN scholarship offer to negotiate with Duke, I would appreciate a PM about how it went. Thanks!

PM sent.
I let the deadline pass without depositing, so I won't be attending Duke with y'all this fall.

Checking in. Recently accepted this past week. Seeing as Duke was one of my top choices I'm almost certain that I'll be attending in the fall.
Has anyone had any luck negotiating aid with Duke? If so, what offers did they entertain/not entertain seriously?

Not yet. Hoping to head up there in a few weeks and get something locked down at Pinnacle Ridge.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
