I wonder why schools do this phased rollout of scholarship offers. Why not just email blast everyone at once?

So, just to be clear, after I've submitted FAFSA and Need Access, I don't have to do anything else in order to receive my financial aid offer? It's just wait-and-see?

We're all pretty much lost because of the conflicting answers given, but that's how I understand it, yes.

In other news, every TTT law school decided to wait until this afternoon to begin emailing me again and about half of those have the word "scholarship" in the subject line. Needless to say, I'm feeling bipolar today.

We're all pretty much lost because of the conflicting answers given, but that's how I understand it, yes.

I believe thats only the case when it comes down to a full scholarship offer. I.e: merit+need+fed loans.

+1 Also got a confirmation on my RSVP for the event Thursday night and for a split second my mind went "oh!"

Upon realizing it was simply a reply to my email, I felt rather silly.

Yeah I'm just talking about for regular financial aid, not named scholarships or anything. Thank you both for your answers. I guess I'll just wait it out with everyone else now.

The email blast from AR yesterday did say either "late tomorrow" or Wednesday. So maybe there is still some hope.

It's close, but to a much lesser degree for me haha. I don't like the constant email checking that I'm performing. I even have my UVA email open, so that I can keep looking at those 5 emails that have been sent out over the last few months to all current students. Not really any hope for receiving the email there, but it helps ease the pain a little bit.
