Nope. I called up the other day and asked.

thanks for that! do you happen to know if it locks you in at that scholarship amount currently given so you can't continue to negotiate going forward?

Same. Any idea if/how grants carry over 2l and 3l?
I am under the impression that they are renewable, barring any major financial gains.

"Awards are generally renewable at the same level for up to two additional years of full-time study at Georgetown Law"

see- https://www.law.georgetown.edu/admissio ... stance.cfm
So, need aid isn't sent out as a separate letter, right? I got the email saying Financial Aid Award, logged in to the website, and saw that my final total was roughly double my merit award in the 2014-2015 academic year breakdown. I'm assuming this it the FINAL total, and since it's more than my merit aid award, I won't be able to add merit on top of it even if I negotiate an even higher award.

That sound correct?
Reposting since it may have gotten lost on last page:

Did anyone who has a deadline of today get a confirmation email that the form was received?

No, but I got an email with a reminder to submit the form, so I assume if they hadn't received it, you get this email.

I doubt it. I mean, you're probably going to need to show higher offers from better schools to get them to negotiate regardless. If you have these offers and haven't tried to negotiate yet, you'd probably be out of luck. However, if you receive offers of that sort going forward, I'm willing to bet GULC will still negotiate.

Call financial aid. They can manually speed up the process - especially if you've been waiting.

Hey everyone, congrats on your accomplishments this cycle! Once you've decided on a school, make your way over to the TLS Class of 2017 thread http://top-law-schools.com/forums/viewt ... 8&t=227952 to let everyone know where you're going.

If you're attending the reception tonight: the address in the confirmation email is incorrect. SCOTUS is at 1 First St NE; the email lists it in NW.

Not a huge deal (those addresses are on opposite sides of the Capitol), but worth noting.

Hey all - first time poster, long time lurker :) Congrats to everyone, btw!

For those of you who asked for an increase in your financial award, how long did it take for GTown to decide and get back to you?

About a week or so. Not too long.
