I had to change my password before it let me log on; the GU password wasn't working for me.
It didn't like my GU password or the one I changed it to, but when I changed my password a second time I was able to log in. :?

Same for me. When it didn't work at first, I emailed the help desk and they responded that it often takes two password changes for it to work.

I'm trying to access the Yellow Form. But when I go to the NetId page on the Accepted students site it says "invalid email!" .. I'm not sure what that means has anyone else had a problem like that? I tried in both Safari and Firefox and it's exactly the same

So, we won't hear about need aid or PILS decisions until late this month?

I don't see how we could accept merit aid without knowing that.

Anyone know if they have announced PILS info yet?

I expressed interest on my application and was notified earlier that I'd be an alternate for scholarship consideration in general. I've since withdrew my application, but I suppose that was one way of notifying people that they aren't being considered for PILS...

Not yet. Probably going to send an e-mail soon. I don't have very many good chips to play right now, though.

Checking in!

Anyone going to the Open House next week? Where is the best place to stay? Hotels seems to be extra expensive in that area (for good reason). This question goes for whoever went to the earlier ASW too. I have less than a week to get this all sorted out, and I haven't gotten access to the admitted students site yet either.

Trying to access the Yellow Form was the worst internet experience of my life. I see that Georgetown is training future government lawyers right from the get go by getting them used to the crappiness of government websites.

Try using Orbitz or a similar site. I found a relatively cheap hotel just south of the Capitol. The admitted students site isn't all that helpful with this, but the nearby hotels it recommends are: The Liaison, Hotel George, Hyatt Hotel, Phoenix Park Hotel, and Washington Court Hotel.

I'll be there, as will some other TLS'ers.

If hotels are looking too pricey, I'd recommend airbnb - a quick search turned up this place, across the street from GULC for $200/night, and this one a few blocks away for $95/night.

Thanks! I found a place on airbnb on the other side of union station for 115/night. 10 minute bus ride. Not bad!

So how is GLUC with need based aid? I've heard good things.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
