Congrats!
I'm in the PT division as well- I think there's a lot to be said for working/making enough money at your job that it mitigates the loan burden. I don't know that I'll end up at Georgetown, but the financial argument can be very persuasive, even if I'm terrified of the stress level.
Thanks! Yeah, the stress level is intimidating, but PT is a great option for some folks to maintain income/career during school.

I don't think so. There was a link to a thing where you had to describe your goals/anything else you wanted them to consider for scholarship purposes. Money is supposed to be coming out starting March 1, I think?

Anyway we can re-provide this link?

Yeah, the e-mail said around March 1st. Since that falls on a Saturday, I wonder if they're going to let some people know today.

I actually think we might hear today, since when you submitted it it said "The scholarship committee will be back in touch by March 1."
As far as providing the link, not sure you can. It came in an email that I think was somehow linkd to your specific student number.

I was admitted back in January but never received a scholarship invitation email. Does this simply mean I am not even in the running for a merit scholarship? Did only a select number of people get the email invitation?

If you e-mail admissions and ask to be considered, apparently sometimes that works. But if you don't contact them, I do think that means you won't be considered.

Regarding finanical aid, GULC's website reads:
"Late applications will be accepted and awards will be issued in the order of application completion."
Does that mean that all apps turned in before the deadline will be given equal consideration regardless of how close to the deadline they were submitted and only late apps will be considered on a rolling basis OR that all apps will be considered in the order they are received?
asdjfa;sldkfja;lkfa;lsdkjf all of this is making me nervous and the Fin Aid office closed at 2:30 today

Then again, the "Yellow Form" isn't even available yet, so hopefully I am freaking out for nothing

Looks that way, but I just checked the email, and it says they planned to start sending them around March 1. Thinking we'll see some action today or if not, definitely by the end of the week

Hi there- who's planning to take the LRAP route?
How restrictive are the job eligibilities? Is it essentially that you have to be in the country for 10 years working for a 501 c3 or the government?
I know for sure I want to be a public service lawyer but can imagine opportunities abroad or with labor unions or even small for profit but public interest firms. I've spoken to people at CLS and NYU and the employment possibilities seem broader...
Anyone have any thought about this/life with LRAP?

I would honestly post this to the "Ask a Law Student/Graduate" thread. You'd get more credit responses and (hopefully) lower rates of groundless speculation.

How odd that the yellow form isn't available yet and it's theoretically due in 12 days. I already filled out FAFSA and NA but this is making me nervous.
