Anyone invited to the accepted students reception at the Supreme Court? Not going to lie, pretty excited.

It's really hard to say goodbye to georgetown, but I just decided I'm going to be at northwestern next year. Let me know if you want to replace me as OP and I'll figure out how to do it. Good luck to all of you!!

Good luck! Northwestern is a great school, and Chicago is really fun! But you should know that you're going to get both more snow and fewer snow days there ;)

For those of you who have asked to be considered for merit aid - who did you email to ask? Dean Cornblatt? A generic admissions email address? Financial aid?

Didnt even realize you had to ask. Has this always been the case with gulc?

It seems that some people have gotten emails from GULC explicitly telling them that they were being considered and asking how much they thought a reasonable award might be, whereas others had to contact the school and ask to be considered before receiving an award.

I emailed the generic admissions address asking if I was/to be considered for merit aid. About a week later I got a response asking me to fill out the merit aid questionnaire thing. The next day, I received my merit/need award. Never got to fill out the questionnaire. So I'm not totally sure how the process actually works. I'd just email admissions though. They are happy to help.

Is the merit aid questionnaire different from the yellow form? I filled that out about a week ago and haven't heard anything.

Has anyone who got the email saying they were being considered for merit aid NOT received a decision yet? I responded saying I wanted to be considered quite a while ago.

I was just informed via email that I will be a scholarship alternate and they would reevaluate after the April 17th deadline. Anyone know what the likelihood of receiving money from this is? It's too bad I was excited about Georgetown and was hoping it would make sense financially. I guess I'll see. Good luck everyone
