Someone come rescue me from this random international location I'm spending the summer at. Decent beaches but no substantive work at my internship yet. Ugh. (Lots of free time to obsess over ABRA and EIW bidding though.)

Any theories as to why we have to wait three weeks for our EIW schedules? If the process is truly automated, then shouldn't it be done by now?

Maybe they look through it in case someone really shit the bed? Yoshino + Samaha for Spring and Fall respectively. But both of them require like 800+ so idk. Maybe I'll take it in spring? I was under the impression that once ABRA enrolled you in your Cycle 1 classes, you had all of those points back (giving you 1000 to bid for Cycle 2 and waitlisted classes). At least that's what I was getting based on all of the Cycle 2 1000 point clearance prices I saw on last year's chart! So you should be fine.
I'm thinking about Samaha for fall, but might decide to bid on Cox instead since it would be so lovely not to have 9am classes as a 2L.
Either way I want to get Con Law out of the way in fall though.

Really? I thought you only got back all the points you didn't use, i.e. if something cleared at 400, and you bid 700, you would get back 300. But maybe you're right! Does anyone know if NYU OCS sends firms a list of students who bid on them (I know they don't tell firms what position students ranked them) so that firms can know which students bid on them but didn't win them via the lottery system?
