Awesome thanks.BuddyHoller wrote:Click show and use 50 or more.BizBro wrote:I'm done! I wish there was a way to display all my bidded firms on one page. Not sure If I chose a wrong firm by accident
Maybe they look through it in case someone really shit the bed? And even though they say no extensions etc, I've always found such instructions to be a soft deadline to correct for errorscheckers wrote:Any theories as to why we have to wait three weeks for our EIW schedules? If the process is truly automated, then shouldn't it be done by now?
That's my guess. I think they tinker with the interviews, playing Robin Hood, so that everyone has at least a fighting chance.BizBro wrote:Maybe they look through it in case someone really shit the bed? Yeah I'm annoyed about this too! Which prof/semester are you going for?BizBro wrote:YAY. I still need to finalize my classes though. I'm mad that they are not opening up Con Law for 2Ls for the first cycle...
Now I'm picturing Irene as Robin Hood and the OCS staff as her Merry Men... That's probably why, though.checkers wrote:That's my guess. Yoshino + Samaha for Spring and Fall respectively. But both of them require like 800+ so idk. Maybe I'll take it in spring? I'm using all my bids during cycle 1 anyway and don't see my self waiting for cycle 2 for some slight chance at those 2. What are you planning on taking?fkt18 wrote:Yeah I'm annoyed about this too! Really? I thought you only got back all the points you didn't use, i.e. if something cleared at 400, and you bid 700, you would get back 300. But maybe you're right! Fingers crossed for Samaha.fkt18 wrote:I was under the impression that once ABRA enrolled you in your Cycle 1 classes, you had all of those points back (giving you 1000 to bid for Cycle 2 and waitlisted classes). At least that's what I was getting based on all of the Cycle 2 1000 point clearance prices I saw on last year's chart! So you should be fine.
I'm thinking about Samaha for fall, but might decide to bid on Cox instead since it would be so lovely not to have 9am classes as a 2L. Either way I want to get Con Law out of the way in fall though.
I think you'd get back 299, but yeah, that's how it works. I found this to be the most helpful guide of all the guides: http://www.law.nyu.edu/sites/default/fi ... 0Guide.pdfBizBro wrote:Really? Haha I wish I'd been using that guide, thanks bom! Okay in that case the high clearing prices for Cycle 2 are extra scary. I'm sure we'll get one into of the Con Law classes though!barrelofmonkeys wrote:I think you'd get back 299, but yeah, that's how it works. My assumption, and it may or may not be a good one, is that those are the classes that don't fill up and cleared at zero.phillywc wrote:do a lot of classes just not have posted clearing prices anywhere?
i'm talking about any of the plain ol tax/property sections.
Think that's right. No one wants tax / propertyBuddyHoller wrote:My assumption, and it may or may not be a good one, is that those are the classes that don't fill up and cleared at zero.phillywc wrote:do a lot of classes just not have posted clearing prices anywhere?
