Reaching out post-interview to ask about decision

When (if ever) is it okay to reach out to chambers to ask if the judge has made a decision? A month after the interview?

I reached out to the clerk(s) 3 weeks later and it worked fine. One judge gave me a decision a day later. The other said a decision would be coming by next Friday.
