Final Transcript?

Postby Anonymous User » Tue Mar 06, 2018 2:08 am

Do judges who have given you an offer ever ask for a final transcript like firms sometimes do? Have there been scenarios where a judge revokes an offer due to poor 3L grades?

Neither of my judges asked. I think I've heard of it happening, but as far as I can tell it's pretty rare.

Only one data point here, but: I was asked to provide an updated transcript when I was in my spring 3L semester. No idea if it was purely ministerial or whether the judge/clerks actually took a look.

OP here. Thanks for the responses. This might be a silly question, but is there reason to believe that more competitive districts/circuits are stricter about this?
