Too late to apply for 2018-2019?
I'll be graduating in 2018. Is it too late to apply for 9th circuit?

Mostly, yes. Some judges (Kleinfeld, Thomas) haven't moved yet. Most are done.

It really varies by judge but a lot of them moved in spring-early summer 2016 for 2018-19, so that time next year is most likely.Anonymous User wrote:When will be the time to apply for ninth for 19-20?
Also, this "everyone has filled" narrative seems overblown unless a significant number of judges have forgotten to post on OSCAR that they're full. Bea, Berzon, Bybee, Fisher, Fletcher, Graber, Hawkins, Hurwitz, Ikuta, Klienfeld, Milan Smith, and N. Randy Smith are all currently accepting applications on OSCAR for 2018 positions.
Rawlinson, Schroeder, Tashima, and Thomas are all accepting applications for 2017 and have not yet opened applications for 2018.
