Law Review necessary?
Im C(ornell)LS top 10% (+/-.01) but I'm on a secondary journal with little likelihood of advancing to a top position (I've done a pretty horrible job on all the assignments and opted out of the note). I want to clerk for a federal district court in New England, but I'd be down for NJ, Del., Maryland if necessary. I figure I'll have a hard time in Boston, SDNY, EDNY, and DNJ, but do I have a good shot for NH/Maine? Thoughts much appreciated. If it makes any difference I'll be SAing at a v10.

Contact our clerkship counselor (LP), but the short answer is yes. Yes. I hope you've done that already before posting.
ETA: to add that the "yes was in response to "but do I have a good shot for NH/Maine? " lol. That must've been hella confusing

CLS alum here. I was on a secondary journal with no senior board position, and I got an SDNY clerkship. But your resume likely won't get your foot in the door, so you gotta hustle.
