LOR from visiting professor
Is it ok to get an LOR from a professor who is a visiting professor at your law school but who is a tenure-track, assistant professor at another law school?

It's fine even if the professor is not tenure-track at any law school.Anonymous User wrote:Is it ok to get an LOR from a professor who is a visiting professor at your law school but who is a tenure-track, assistant professor at another law school?
For what it's worth, I found that the strongest recommendations often came from lecturers and clinical faculty who knew the applicant well and who took the time to write detailed, personalized letters. The least helpful recs were from prestigious professors who seemed to barely know the applicant.

Yeah, my strongest letter was from an adjunct professor.rpupkin wrote:It's fine even if the professor is not tenure-track at any law school.Anonymous User wrote:Is it ok to get an LOR from a professor who is a visiting professor at your law school but who is a tenure-track, assistant professor at another law school?

Your goal should be to get LORs from the professors that know you best and can speak about your abilities beyond your resume and some generic pleasantries, regardless of their status.Anonymous User wrote:Is it ok to get an LOR from a professor who is a visiting professor at your law school but who is a tenure-track, assistant professor at another law school?
